    Wildlife and Public Lands

One thing I love about Idaho is the vast amount of public lands that are available for all of us to enjoy. In Idaho, we are free to go where we want and do what we please.

In Europe, most wild places are owned by the rich elite and corporations, who control who can go where and do what.

I rejected efforts to sell off the public lands and invest the money in the stock market. I think this would create the same situation here, where we would have to get permission or pay fees to a corporation to go hunting. Or even not be allowed to go there at all. As we’ve seen, the stock market comes and goes, but our public lands are forever.
